To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Day Twelve~DPP

The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;

those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness,
on them has light shone.
(Isaiah 9:2 ESV)

That light has revealed that He is sufficient.
He is enough.
I can dwell in this day with all it's needs and wants and know that it is all met in Him. If it is good and right then He will give it. If there is lack it is because it is good and right for lack to be present...an emptiness that He will fill with His good pleasure...His grace. Out of it He will create thanksgiving.
And trust.
And faith.
The light has revealed that it is good.

In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
(John 1:4-5 ESV)
