It is a story without a beginning or end. With understanding mercy a middle has been sent down and shared through ordinary men. The opening chapter reveals the Spirit of God as He creates from nothing all that is. It ends with a royal wedding the likes of which no eye has seen.
This time of year we open the story to a chapter that is located in a tiny little in the middle east. Just as light comes first in creation, a star gleams in the sky. We read of a babe laying in a manger...of wise men seeking...of shepherds in a field and a host of heavenly beings.
What was happening in that tiny corner of the world would culminate one day in the death and resurrection of the Light of the world. Death would be defeated and a command would be given.

Day Fourteen~DPP
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 ESV)
