To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

News Flash!

Claire is devastated to learn she is in fact the last born child in our family. It seems she really, really wants to be the oldest :-)
Rob, trying to help explain the birth order assigned everyone a finger on his hand as a visual aid. At first he ended with her being the thumb which did not suit Claire at all so he changed and she is now the pinkie.
She then promptly made sure Sarah knew she may be the oldest but she is also a lowly thumb. Not nearly as good as a pinkie.
