To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Going Next Level

Remember this post? You know, learning what a bad driver you are because your child is studying to get their learner's permit?

Well she hasn't gotten her permit yet, but Rob let her drive yesterday. Our neighborhood is tucked into a fairly quiet industrial park and he let her drive around a bit.
So this afternoon when we turned into the neighborhood I switched places with her.

It is very, very odd to be sitting in the passenger seat while your first born is driving.

I'm not sure what to think.
