To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Welcome to the Family

In all the excitement of my great nephew's pictures I have neglected to mention that we have a new family member in our house.
We are happy to introduce...

Midalic T. Turtle (the T stands for terrific)

He is a yellow bellied slider. He enjoys being outside and is surprisingly fast...ya know, for a turtle :-)

Awesome! I love turtles! I'll bet Sam is thrilled! Did he name him?

Reminds me of the turtle the boys had yeeeeears ago. Wesley named him Franklin, but pronounced it Shranklin. Fun times!

Enjoy your new pet! When is the first volleyball game?

With a name like Midalic you have to ask who named him? :-)
They have a tournament tomorrow at West FL Baptist...first official game of the season is on Monday at the school.
Heard the first soccer game was a win...that must have been exciting!
