To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Real Friends

We are supposed to go hang out with some friends today. But a rash that showed up on Claire Wednesday has progressively spread over most of her little body. With the host Momma expecting her 8th (Yea, I know that really didn't have to be in the post...I could have just said she was pregnant but how cool is it that they're having their eighth baby? You just don't get to say that often :-) Anyway, she's pregnant with her eighth child and I didn't want her to be concerned so I called to ask if she was comfortable with us still coming over.

No, problem as long as there isn't fever.
There isn't so we're good to go, see ya in about an hour.
Hey, before we get off the phone...can you bring some toilet paper?

I love good friends :-)
