To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

So, last night Rob and Sarah went to Walmart to buy the ingredients for our annual New Year's banananananananana splits.
On the way home a woman ran a stop sign and hit our van. Everyone was okay and the van is fixable but dinged up. We filed with our insurance and now we're just waiting to hear from an adjuster.
Today, Rob was leaving to return something we borrowed from a friend. On his way out the door Claire yells,
"Don't get into any more car accidents, Daddy!"
Not as amusing as I thought now that I've written it out but, oh well.
It was still sweet.

Sounds like a pretty good New Year's resolution to me! Its too bad people have to ruin holidays by making others worry about intoxicated drivers...I'm glad everyone was ok!
