To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Sam's World

Sam is back in school. Doing really well and enjoying it
I think. It helps I guess to have a math buddy...
This is Little Joe..I'm sure you'll see him a lot more as we share his many adventures.

We've started a new Bible curriculum with Sam this school year. We had been studying all week about the cycle of sin and deliverance of the children of Israel in the book of Judges. Sam's recap:
"God told the children of Israel to drive out all the people in the Promised Land. But they insisted on their own way. So God let their enemies, the Canaanites, oppress them. Then the children of Israel cried out to hoo...and He heard them and sent a judge to deliver them. But they did not stay faithful and they did it over and over again until midnight."
He passed his test :-)
