To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Our Little Pilgrim Girl

Abby's kindergarten class, along with the K4 and 1st grade classes, celebrated with a Thanksgiving feast yesterday. Besides dressing up she also made homemade butter...which was actually pretty tasty.

How precious!!
We also did a unit on the
First Thanksgiving. And dressed up
like the Pilgrims or Indians.
It was so much fun. Making the crafts and foods that the Pilgrims
and Indians shared was so tasty.(The food that is.. LOL)
My kids continued to make butter
because they liked it better than margarine. Good thing, right!
Abby, you are just beautiful!!
