To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Remember the post about the bathroom re-do? Well, it is finally done! It took longer than expected but, hey...we were working around seven children, school starting and just life stuff in general so what did I expect? We took down shower doors, removed the towel holder, and other ceramic fixtures along with a medicine cabinet...all of which required holes to be patched, sprayed on texture, then painted the walls with primer before painting again with the final color...new hardware on freshly sanded & painted cabinet doors, hung new hooks and plates for decorations, added ribbon to those towels that are strictly for looks. Lauren is a whiz bang at this stuff and is quite talented...it wouldn't have happened without her...thanks my friend!
