To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Milestone for Sam

We have wondered how this would go with Sam...his sensory issues put a different spin on things at times...but the loose tooth itself wasn't much of a big a matter of fact he really didn't pay much attention to it. Pulling it wasn't very difficult...he sounded more insulted than injured when he pointed the blood out to his Daddy and said, "See, it hurt!" It will be interesting to see how he interprets this new experience in his life the next go round.

Awww, I just love little gap-toothed kids' smiles! Soooo cute! Now who's gonna teach him to make use of that gap and spit like a man? :)

It will most certainly have to be his Father...his Mother would not know a thing about spittin'

Yeah, um, I don't know how to spit either. Yeah. Really. I do not.
