To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Happy Birthday Emily!

Her name is Emily Grace but we call her Weeters. She turns eight years old today. Her favorite color is pink and her favorite number is eighteen. She likes to ride her scooter and wheelie shoes and playing outside. Expensive taste too...her favorite foods are shrimp and steak...and just about anything sweet. She gets the giggles at night and loves to be silly. For a period of a few months she would sneak into her sister's clothes and steal all the underwear and hide them. She's curious...she cut the cord of the crock pot to see what would happen...while it was plugged in mind you. Her favorite subject at school is Latin and she's pretty good at spelling too. Dead lady bugs make her sad and she doesn't like green veggies. As a baby she was allergic to strawberries and still doesn't like them. Her favorite thing is flowers and she loves art. Of all the children she is the quietest and also the most like Rob. She has given us much laughter and joy in these eight years and I'm sure she will continue to bless us as she grows...our hope and prayer is that she will continue to grow in her knowledge and love of God and seek to honor Him in all that she does.

Happy Birthday Emily Grace!!!
You are such a beautiful young lady.
You are growing up so fast.
Always seek the kingdom of God first and His righteousness and everything will be added unto you.
Matt. 6:33
God knows what you need and when you need it.
You love flowers! That's cool, so do I. Look at the beautiful lilies
in the fields. They are dependent on the Lord just as we should
always be.
Prov. 3:5-6 says to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding but in ALL your
ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths.
I pray God's riches blessings for you.

Happy Birthday Emily!! We love you and your quirky sense of humor and your sweet, quiet ways. Hiding the underwear was good, but come see Mrs. Becky for some other ideas! (Shhh!)

Love,
