To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Long Time No See

Well, there has been a little dry spell in the blogging department...happy to report that is has been due to maintaining a consistent schedule with school...(go Mom...go Mom...yea me:-) So now that I am done bragging on myself let's get everybody caught up...
On Monday the kids and I worked on our Father's Day project...you can view the fruit of that labor on my next post. Hopefully the finished gift will be pleasing and fun for Dad.
Tuesday we took Sam to a new pediatrician...Dr. Mahaffey has a 15 year old son with autism so she is very knowledgeable and experienced with our particular issues. Sam is in the 90% for his height and 55% for weight and very healthy. She loved his verbal skills and was very encouraging about continuing to homeschool Sam. She is also connecting us with a resource for any therapy he might need. All in all a great visit. Check out my two super heroes:

Thursday night we had the fun of going to the circus in Pensacola. It was a blast for us all. The girls thrilled to the gaudy costumes and Sam was enthralled with the whole show...he summed it up at the end by saying, "Dad, that was fantastic!" His first taste of cotton candy...yuummmmy!
Today I think we are going to keep cool by going to play in the Johnson's pool. A nice way to relax and finish off a busy week.
