To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Field Trip

Yesterday we had the opportunity...(thanks Mrs. Susan Moore:-) to visit the Creek Indians traveling history bus. Our friends Taylor & Wesley came with us. We all had a wonderful time. We learned about their past and present culture and even met the Chief of their tribe. The girls were able to make bracelets and even got to take a turn weaving.

Sam enjoyed checking out the various artifacts and weapons. We saw a miniature replica of a Creek Indian Village as well as traditional outfits.
