To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony.

Aloha!

Grandma recently returned from her trip to Hawaii & brought gifts back for the kids. Hula skirts for the girls...(Sarah will never leave the backyard with hers on for obvious reasons:-)Sam promptly found his own way to wear the hula skirts...he assured them that it is actually a lion's mane...

What Sam was most excited about is that Grandma also returned with a V. Smile Pocket...he couldn't be happier!

Thanks Grandma!

The girls look so sweet in their hula skirts! (I hear ya on Sarah! I'm sure dad was thrilled to see that!) I would have loved to see Sam's face when he got his gift. He probably hasn't put it down yet, has he? And Claire Bear look adorable as always.

I LOVE when you update your blog. (hint hint)
